Background:

ASU students Noah Todd and Adam Pfau have shot 18 episodes of That One Show for Sun Devil Television, featuring such guest stars as Robin Williams, Dennis Quaid, Pauly Shore and Rob Schneider.  The two believed it would be easy to shoot a TV talk show in a radio station, but encountered problems with lighting and sound.  They decided to place an increased emphasis on remotes and hidden-camera shoots. 

Do you have any interesting stories from casting?:

The pair cast Molly as a correspondent through a segment called “Don’t Call Us, We’ll Call You,” where they called a random person on campus.  (The segment started because nobody ever called in to the station.)  “She was one of the first ones we did that with, and she was just such a great character—she was so funny,” said Noah Todd.  “Eventually we did a weekly segment with her where we would call her to see what was going on in her life.”  She ended up changing her major from Education to Broadcasting.
